Maribou State - Comeback Show

Duality runs through everything: Maribou State are comprised of two artists, the live show conceived as two parts with a band-based section and the electronic production section, and even with their upcoming album cover featuring two people embracing.

The beauty in these dualities is not the two counterparts, but rather the fusion they make when combined. This concept can run through all aspects of the show design, informing our decisions of set design, lighting, and content.

For this one off show at Islington Assembly Hall, the band's return to stage after years away, we created an intimate and inviting installation to compliment the performance, leaving space for the band to feel comfortable and for the audience to become a part of it.
