Performers normally go on stage to put on an act, but Nia dares to go on stage to show all versions of herself. As a self-proclaimed "Emotional Juglist", we grounded our show design under the concept of 'The Beauty Behind the Scenes' by enabling space for reveal and allowing Nia to be herself in all emotional states. To show the BTS of beauty, we captured nia from all angles of performance, circling her and encouraging the use of spirals as seen in the shell. The set comprised of a sofa which invited the audience into a softer domestic space referencing her latest album, and stacks of screens inspired by junglist speaker stacks.
